Northrop Grumman is seeking a RF Electrical Test Engineer. This position will be located in Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Electrical Test Engineers support the entire Integration and Test flow including Test Set Requirements development and design reviews, TIS Development in interfacing with our software team, Test Script Development, Test Procedure & Interconnect Drawing development, Integration, Checkout, Integrated System Test, Environmental Tests, and final delivery. Other responsibilities include coming up to speed on both the deliverable hardware and Test Set architecture, eventually becoming the POC for one of the critical subsystems. Electrical Test Engineers also function in a Test Conductor capacity which includes test execution, manual measurements, visual inspections, deliverable hardware walk-arounds, test set moves, test set validations, and shift support. The schedule will require shift work, weekend work, over-time/EWW, holiday/shutdown, and domestic travel to support program objectives.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 10 years with a Masters; 8 years with a PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Experience with Radio-Frequency (RF), digital Instrumentation and Command and Data Handling
Experience with RF Test Equipment
Integration & Test experience
Experience in test script development
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Bachelor of Science in STEM related field.
Ability to operate in a large Integration and Test environment
Ability to function as a member of a team
Experience with RF and DC cables
Experience troubleshooting anomalous hardware and software
Basic Programming Skills in one or more of these areas: Python, C, Matlab, Excel
Excellent communication skills
Excellent technical writing skills

Salary Range: $149,900.00 – $224,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
