In this role, you will be responsible for working on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Component New Business (CNB) team focusing on proposal strategies and development of future efforts/contracts and acquisitions. This role will support Proposal Managers across THAAD contracts to evolve program needs into fully defined contractual projects with the U.S. Government. This involves the entire acquisition life cycle from pre-coordination, development of proposal estimates and negotiations with the customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Lead and coordinate with Stakeholders to develop bids for proposals
· Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) using genBOE for proposal submittals
· Understand and communicate Technical Baselines, Task Instructions, and Requests for Proposal requirements
· Effectively plan and support technical and schedule requirements while coordinating with multi-functional teams across multiple LM sites in a dynamic and multifaceted environment
· Develop and present summary and status details to Senior Leadership, Directors, and Central Management
· Efficiently manage several ongoing projects serving as a liaison between the technical, acquisition, and program teams and stakeholders
· Maintain well-organized proposal databases and documents
· Travel as needed to support the program needs
Basic Qualifications:
· Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP) process and evaluation
· Experience as an interface or representative to internal/external customers/partners
· Ability to acquire a Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
· Experience in project management, and/or new business efforts
· Experience developing strategic process improvements
· Familiarity with business processes (invoicing, billing, funding, etc.) in the context of prime and subcontracts
· Experience with IDIQ contracts
· Familiarity with missile and weapon elements, capabilities, and CONOPS
· Experience addressing Senior Leadership
· Excellent organization, analytical, presentation, spreadsheet, communications, and interpersonal skills
· Active Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 – $117,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
