Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal/Sr Principal Quality Analyst to provide support to our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team. Selected candidate will support MA functions to ensure mission success.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW’s, Requirements documents as required.
Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel achievements.
Assesses Sentinel performance and risks and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.
Assist the Program Managers (PM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans.
Support Sentinel program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.
Assist PQM in preparation and execution on of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
Develop and maintain Sentinel Program Metrics.
Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.
Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.
Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs.
Support operational activities with product inspection plans and acceptance.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal Quality Analyst (A03): Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of quality/inspecting/test experience; OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a formal may be considered.
Sr Principal Quality Analyst (A04): Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of quality/inspecting/test experience; OR a Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience. Note: an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a formal may be considered.
Experience working with Quality Management Systems (AS9100/ISO 9001)
Experience with implementing and maintaining metrics
Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in ICBMs or Aerospace programs.
Proven ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel in both written and verbal formats.
Must have initiative, judgement, and ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
Project Management Professional or other formal project management training.
Experience in analyzing metrics to identify shifts, drifts or trends
Knowledge of one or more of the following: Mil-Std, J-STD, IPC inspection, and assembly criteria.
Demonstrated ability prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Prior manufacturing experience
Experience with test planning and execution.
Salary Range: $76,600.00 – $115,000.00Salary Range 2: $95,000.00 – $142,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
