Job Responsibilities
•Create and manage content on the company intranet site, display screens, and other mediums
•Manage all communications related to DEIB, engagement, and cultural programs
•Draft internal communications to support corporate priority initiatives
•Collaborate with business support teams to draft, schedule, and disseminate communications and obtain feedback
•Project manage content series end-to-end, sourcing stories from employees and support teams
•Support communications team in managing and tracking departmental efforts
•Support in planning and execution of quarterly internal meetings and town halls
•Play a proactive role in the development of key employee engagement and belonging moments while driving storytelling that brands us as an employer of choice
What you bring
•First and foremost, enthusiasm! This is writing internally for a space travel company, after all!
•Phenomenal verbal and written communication, and copywriting skills
•Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight deadlines
•Experience in internal communications working with various HR groups
•Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with HR, brand and marketing, IT, and other business support teams
•Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
•Strong ability to work on the visual layout of content and familiarity with digital and video means of communication
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or relevant field
•2-4 years’ experience in corporate communications or business setting, preference given to internal communications output.
•Proven experience as communications specialist able to provide writing samples
Preferences
•Eye for graphic design to produce visuals to accompany company ads and articles. Experience with Adobe preferred
•Experience in writing for a variety of different audiences is also desired, including creative writing skills, blogging, and vlogging
•Experience in publishing content on SharePoint
•Experience with photo and video-editing software is an asset
The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $67,500.00–$97,950.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay (e.g., bonus or long term incentive) may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
