The DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SUMMARY
As a member of the Firefly Aerospace Skillbridge Program, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work as an Launch/Test Support Systems Technician. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the aerospace industry, encompassing ground support equipment, auxiliary equipment, and test stand operations. This program is tailored for active-duty service members within six months of transitioning out of the military, and it offers a pathway into a rewarding career with an end-to-end space transportation company. These positions are located north of Cedar Park, in Briggs, TX & Vandenburg, CA. Training is provided. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a military transitional program that does not provide compensation through Firefly Aerospace. If selected for full-time employment with Firefly Aerospace upon completion of SkillBridge you will be eligible for: base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
