As a Thermal Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will gain experience and training in Aerospace Thermal Analysis, familiarity with practical space/lunar environment heat transfer principles, aerospace thermal hardware, and thermal testing. In addition, interns will use the NASA standard thermal analysis tool, Thermal Desktop, to perform real world thermal modeling and analysis tasks in support of Lunar Outpost’s several flight projects focused on the expanding cis-lunar economy. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship is a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration in every stage of autonomous robotic development!
Qualifications:
Mid-May (May 19) to early August (August 8). Start and end dates are flexible with intern’s school schedule. In-person, Monday – Friday in Arvada, Colorado.
