Your Mission
As a Launch Pad Operations Engineer, you play a critical role in the process of getting our rocket and its payload safely into orbit. You will join the operations team of the launch pad, being an essential part of the Test & Launch Department. The team is performing development, verification and acceptance tests on rocket stages on our launch pad in Andøya. In addition to test campaigns, you will also be carrying out maintenance activities and preparatory operations for rocket launches from said launch site. Since the launch pad is still under development, involvement in the build-up and commissioning phase is likely, as well as supporting the Lead Engineer of Launch Pad Operations in creating safe operational procedures, creating an operational routine etc. Close cooperation with other departments such as Propulsion Technology, Test Facilities Development and Launch Vehicle is necessary since they are deeply involved in test and launch campaigns as key stakeholders.
