EchoStar has an exciting opportunity in our Hughes Network Systems division for a Materials Management Intern. This position will be located at our manufacturing/operations facility in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Support the supply chain team in daily operations, including inventory management and logistics.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels.
- Work with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies.
Basic Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Must have 60 credit hours completed by June 2025
- 3.0 GPA or above
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eager to learn and apply new skills in a real-world environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Prior internship or work experience in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $49,000.00 – $70,000.00
