Job Description
Exotrail is a growing startup in the space domain, looking for a mechanical engineering intern talented in mechanical design and mechanical simulations to support the development of the structural elements of the spacevan™ platforms. Given your experience, your job will be to produce CAD of the satellite components, and finite element models of structures of the satellites. You might also help with coding automation tools to accelerate the data generation of validation phases.
During the internship you will work within the spacevan™ mechanical team, supervised by the spacevan™ Mechanical and Thermal Team Leader.

Given your experience, your main tasks could be ♀️
Make the detailed design of mechanical parts (3D CAD models and drawings) to have it ready to manufacturing
Make 3D CAD models of standard components for the CAD library
Make detailed finite element models based on 3D CAD models
Run mechanical analysis to validate the design
Code engineering tools to accelerate the post treatment of mechanical analysis results

Preferred experience ♀️
• Experience in mechanical engineering (static and dynamic)
• SolidWorks
• Mechanical simulation software
• Pyton or Excel VBA
• Good communication skills
• Good English level (read, write and speak)
