BlackSky Technology has signed a seven-year contract worth over $100 million with an international defense sector client. The agreement includes real-time satellite monitoring and AI-driven analytics through 2032.
The client will gain priority access to high-resolution imagery from both the existing Gen-2 constellation and future Gen-3 satellites. These new systems will enable 35 cm resolution observations with data delivery in under an hour.
BlackSky operates on a subscription-based model, allowing seamless integration of advanced monitoring technologies into intelligence operations. This enables clients to track border crossings, ports, nuclear sites, and critical infrastructure in real-time.

BlackSky Selected for $200M Luno B GEOINT Contract
BlackSky Technology (NYSE: BKSY) has been selected as a provider for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) $200 million Luno B contract. This Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement will grant U.S. defense agencies rapid access to commercial geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) data.
The contract will support the NGA’s efforts to integrate AI-driven analytics into GEOINT operations, aiding military forces, policymakers, and mission-critical partners. The Luno B system will enable users to monitor economic, environmental, and geopolitical activity and track illicit operations worldwide.
The contract includes a five-year base period, with a total ceiling of $200 million. Providers will compete for task orders to supply critical intelligence data.
BlackSky Extends NRO EOCL Gen-2 Imaging Contract
BlackSky Technology (NYSE: BKSY) has secured an extension of its Electro-Optical Commercial Layer (EOCL) contract with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) through mid-2026.
