<Export Control Laws>
Unless explicitly notified otherwise, our vacancies are covered by Export Control Laws which require candidates to be from an “Export Safe” Country as deemed by the Japanese Government. The countries are as follows: Japan, Germany, Australia, Argentina, Italy, USA, France, Netherlands, UK, Austria, Ireland, Czech, Spain, Greece Canada, New Zealand, Belgium, Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Denmark Hungary and Poland.
<key activities, role and responsibilities>
- Responsibility
- Lead and find opportunities to contract and liaise with Government of Japan ; mainly Ministry of Defense, and all other target customers, and create business leads.
- Generate, develop, and plan communication strategies to collaborate with Government of Japan ; mainly Ministry of Defense, industry customers and partners.
- Proactively execute sales activities including engagement and coordination with the business leads, customers, and partners.
- An excellent “sales / marketing style” in bid production which can be used to convey the selling points of the business, and to construct competitive but deliverable bids.
- Any other tasks instructed by the reporting manager
<Mandatory>
- At least 5 years’ experience in solution sales or business development in space industry.
- Strong awareness and understanding of the space activities at Ministry of Defense.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills including to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Native Japanese or Japanese language skills equivalent to JLPT N1
- TOEIC score of 700 or above or equivalent English language skills (score submission not required)
<Desirable>
- Experience of sales or business development on GEO missions
- An understanding of the JAXA and Japanese government ecosystem
- Experience of working with sensitive information in terms of security, technical information management, export control, etc., which requires handling and consideration of sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of debris removal, EOL (End-of-Life) and on-orbit services
＜職務内容/役割・責任＞
- 防衛省を主として日本政府およびその他すべてのターゲット顧客との契約および連携の機会の創出、（見込み）顧客を獲得する活動をリードする。
- 防衛省を主として日本政府、業界顧客、パートナーとの協力のためのコミュニケーション戦略の立案、開発、計画を行う。
- ビジネスリード、顧客、パートナーとのエンゲージメントや調整を含む営業活動を積極的に実行する。
- 事業のセールスポイントを伝え、競争力のある提案書を作成する。
- その他、レポーティングマネージャーから指示された業務。
<必須スキル>
- 5年以上の宇宙産業におけるソリューション営業または事業開発経験。
- 防衛省における宇宙活動に対する幅広い認識と理解。
- 自立心があり、積極的で、自発的に行動できる方。
- 優れた対人能力、組織能力、および技術的・非技術的な聴衆を含む書面／口頭でのコミュニケーション能力。
- 日本語ネイティブ、または日本語能力試験N1相当の日本語力。
- TOEIC700点以上または同等の英語力（スコア提出は必須ではない）。
<望ましいスキル>
- GEOミッションに関する営業または事業開発の経験。
- JAXAおよび日本政府（防衛省含む）のエコシステムへの理解。
- 情報セキュリティ、技術情報管理、輸出管理等、機微情報の取り扱いや配慮が必要な業務経験。
- デブリ除去、EOL(End-of-Life)、軌道上サービスに関する基本的な知識。
