The Assistant Project Manager will independently lead small projects across all phases of the lifecycle whilst also working to support delivery across the account, including the development of strategy, plans and new business.

The role supports the management of all aspects of the Account’s projects and will be supported by the Engineering Team Leads, Engineering Authority and/or Chief Engineer. The projects are likely to be associated with the design, development, implementation and through-life support of platform control and integrated navigation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Multi-Domain C2 end-to-end projects to the agreed baseline and budget
• Develop and maintain positive engagement with customers, partners and suppliers
• Maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand)
• Regular reporting of progress against baseline

• Strong problem-solving skill, with proven ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems
• Good attention to detail
• Strong Communicator – including written and verbal
• Good interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with all audiences/stakeholders
• Proficient user of MS office
