Summary
We have an open opportunity for a Biomedical/Tissue Engineering, Research and Development Intern for Summer 2025, located at our facility in Greenville, IN. You will be expected to work up to 40 hours if selected.
We will provide you with an internship that will last approximately 12 weeks (with possibility of an extension) during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. This opportunity will fully immerse you in our technology and culture for an invaluable and rewarding experience. Responsibilities
Designs and performs experiments, commercially focused development efforts around space-based additive manufacturing, materials production, and crystal growth.
Materials and transport phenomena studies for space-based production activities and additive manufacturing including metals, composites, plastics, ceramics, and biomaterials.
Assemble materials and fixtures for space flight experiments.
Keep appropriate experimental records and documentation and analyze the results with the Science Team.
Operates and maintains equipment and instruments.
Participates in laboratory meetings, keeping a lab notebook, performing calculations, tabulating data, summarizing methods and results of related experiments.
Scheduling flexibility to include evening, weekend, and holiday rotation commitment as required.
Routine laboratory cleaning and ordering stock materials.
In addition to these responsibilities, assistance with additional tasks deemed suitable by your Manager will be requested from time to time. Detailed instructions will be given in accordance with each task when assigned.
Ideal Experience
Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited University or College, pursuing either a Bachelor’s, Master’s degree or Doctoral student in a Biology, Biochemistry, Material Science, Biomedical or other related engineering degree. As part of our selection criteria, we will be reviewing your grades and transcripts.
Experience in any formal training, lab work, research papers compiled, any prior work in co-ops, internships, and any related work experience.
Must be within commuting distance to Greenville, Indiana or willing to relocate for this position.

Have a variety of fundamental science, physics or engineering classroom and practical experience where you have demonstrated you strive for excellence in all aspects of your coursework, projects, lab work, workshops, internships, and other collegiate activities.
