Summary
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases while simultaneously developing robust and user-friendly web applications that seamlessly integrate with external APIs. This unique role requires a blend of database administration expertise and full stack development skills to ensure the efficient functioning and enhanced capabilities of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Integration of databases, web applications, and external APIs.
- Setup
- Design, implement, and maintain database structures, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
- Development of full stack web applications, with a keen focus on user interfaces, functionality, and responsiveness.
- API integration will be a core aspect of your responsibilities, requiring you to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our systems’ capabilities.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and innovate within both database and web development realms.
Ideal Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) is essential.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, with a focus on SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant platforms
- Knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation
- Ability to write scripts for database automation (e.g., using SQL, PowerShell, or other scripting languages)
- Proven API development, integration, and implementation abilities
- Strong knowledge of PHP and frontend scripting languages
- Full stack WordPress development experience
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5+ years
- Foundational understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS or ExpressJS
- Experience designing and implementing HTML5/CSS/JS Uls for web applications
