We are looking for a Embedded Software Integrator in our In-Orbit Services team.
You will be responsible for planning, assembling, and documenting the multiple software components of the embedded software system of our family of spacecrafts and for ensuring that they work cohesively and efficiently.
You will guarantee the delivery and deployement of the embedded software systems to the stakeholders, according to the planning and to space industry standard processes.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, and design specifications
- Write the integration strategy document
- Define and prepare the target environment
- Collect the software components from the software development team and the suppliers
- Maintain the integration repositories
- Prepare, document, and tune the software product in its target environment
- Write and maintain a software test and integration plan, according to the high-level planning
- Schedule the test and integration campaign in cooperation with the Embedded Software Test Engineer
- Analyze the issues identified during the test and integration activities
- Deliver the embedded software system
- Support the stakeholders in the deployment of the delivery
- Improve the continuous integration process to smoothen the software development and delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a system or software integrator or in a similar role
- Demonstrated work experience on complex end-to-end systems
- Experience in embedded software
- Experience with git, GitLab
- Experience in measurement techniques
- Experience with communication protocols CAN, RS-485, I²C
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows, Docker, FreeRTOS
- Knowledge of software engineering and software standards
- Ability to read and write software in C, C++, Python
- Ability to think on system level
- Ability to work independantly
- Good written and verbal communication in English
- Attentionate to details and rigor
Considered a Plus
- Experience in software development
- Knowledge of ISO and/or ECSS standards
