Head of Investor Relations (“IR”) will work with the Vice President of Finance and Accounting and the Director of Finance to drive all IR activities of Astroscale Holdings Inc. (“ASHD”) including managing daily investor interactions, arrangement of roadshows, drafting of investor reports and presentations and timely disclosure. Candidates should be prepared to work in a high-stress global environment given IR is a critical element of a capital-intensive business such as Astroscale. At the same time, this position will provide an opportunity to work closely with global management including the group CEO and CFO to shape external communications of an exciting and high-profile global business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of strategic planning for ASHD IR activities in consultation with the global CFO, Vice President of Finance and Accounting and Director of Finance.
- Manage investor interactions including scheduling and attending meetings, planning for roadshows and investor events, providing internal briefings, keeping meeting logs, etc.
- Lead drafting of investor reports and presentations in consultation with the global CFO, Vice President of Finance and Accounting and Director of Finance.
- Lead processes relating to timely disclosure including tracking disclosable information, drafting of IR releases, and coordinating with the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Astroscale Group Marketing & Communications team.
- Collaborate with other Office of the CFO (“OCFO”) members to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Assist in various Finance group tasks as appropriate.
- Coach, develop, and train staff.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of relevant experience at an IR function of a listed Japanese company.
- Good understanding of accounting, financial analysis tools and techniques.
- Effective global communication skills including strong business-level written and verbal communication capabilities in English and Japanese.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Team management skills including coaching, recruiting and retention.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
