Internship conversion position for the Enterprise Application Department of the Information Systems and Cyber Division. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.

This position will be located 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA
What You’ll Be Doing

Support industry leading scientists and engineers in the development of maintainable cloud native and stand-alone data visualization applications as well as the development backend service-oriented architecture components

Provide technical support in application architecture and development, continuous integration and continuous deployment, middleware development, and software interface development for laboratory equipment
-
Work with subject matter experts and scientists to develop laboratory applications which enable modeling and simulations of space capabilities
-
Interface with a wide variety of Engineering and Technology Group (ETG), launch, satellite, and other program office customers
-
Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as needed
-
Training and mentorship will be provided

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college/university program and to be conferred within 12 months.

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Prior internship at The Aerospace Corporation

Ability to work both independently, and cooperatively within a team

Experience coding in C++ or Java, Python
-
Proficiency in REACT/MEAN

Experience with Unix/Linux environments

Work experience supporting laboratories with software infrastructure and application development

This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
