Our location in Highlands Ranch, CO has an immediate opportunity for an early-career level Program Planner to join our mission supporting GeoXO within in our Commercial Civil Space (CCS) line of business. The Geostationary Extended Observations (GeoXO) satellite system is the ground-breaking mission that will advance Earth observations from geostationary orbit. It will supply vital information to address major future environmental challenges in support of weather, ocean, and climate operations.

Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will…
• Partner with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions
• Develop compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy
• Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored, and statused
• Prepare/coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response
• Interface with program management, senior management and the customer as the program’s planning integrator
• Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts
• Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments
• Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance
Our level 2 employees typically have 3 – 6 years of experience.
Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Highlands Ranch, CO and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of previous planning/scheduling experience
• Experience with a planning tool (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, or another comparable tool)
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, and program start-up activities
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor degree
• Previous EVM Experience
• Experience performing critical path analysis
• Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program
• Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
• Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
• Prior team lead experience

• Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $61,300 – $117,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
