Lockheed Martin Space in Englewood, CO seeks an Associate Program Planning Manager to join our mission on the FBM program. As our Associate Program Planning Manager, you will lead a group of Program Planners assigned to the Life Extension 2 program, the future of the FBM program. This is a growing team of Planners who will continue to build and manage technical, discrete projects to help the Navy reach its goals. You will help lead and oversee various aspects of EVM compliance including audits, data driven metrics, and CDRL deliverables. It’s a role that will involve extensive interaction with both internal and external customers including Program Management, Finance, Project Management, Proposal Management, and the Navy. This is an exciting time to join as Life Extension 2 is still in early stages of the program.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….
• Identify resource needs and staffing, monitoring performance to program goals and functional/enterprise standards, employee training and development, and employee performance assessments and feedback
• Be responsible for the end-to-end life-cycle of planning and schedule management
• Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer communication and status
• Provide oversight of performance to program budgets and communicating necessary adjustments to responsible Cost Account Managers
• Participate in estimating future resource requirements for staffing profiles or proposals
• Perform time-phased analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments to assure the capability of the program to meet their commitments
• Resolve schedule conflicts, develop and implement work-around strategies and tactical alternatives
• Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance
Although this position does support some teleworking, the selected candidate will be located near our Englewood facility and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant program planning/program scheduling experience and 8 years of prior work experience
• Extensive planning/ scheduling experience on programs requiring EVMS
• Experience with planning/ scheduling tools such as OpenPlan, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or another comparable planning tool
• Experience with Data-Driven Metric compliance requirements and surveillance
• Experience in the application of integrated cost/ schedule techniques
• Extensive experience developing the Integrated Management Plan / Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS)
• Must be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret security clearance
• Previous informal or formal leadership experience
• Experience with Milestones Pro, OnePager Pro
• Extensive experience in Earned Value Management specifically with programs in development phase
• Extensive experience with large program integration
• Experience planning out over 20+ years of future scope
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
• Ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and customers and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
• Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $91,300 – $175,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
