Omitron is seeking a Junior Field Services Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Field Services Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment at client or remote sites. This role involves traveling to various locations, ensuring the proper setup of hardware and connections, and testing equipment functionality to meet performance standards. The technician will troubleshoot issues, document installations, and collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, patch panels, and cabling.
- Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements and ensure readiness.
- Test and verify network connectivity and equipment functionality post-installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware or connectivity issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and site details.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address requirements and provide updates.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
- Travel up to 50%
Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Ability to hold a Secret Clearance and be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI Clearance
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications: One or more of the following: Security +, CCST, JNCIA, CCNA or better
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related major
- Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors.
