Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Launch Integrator to join our team supporting our FROST program. This position is based in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area at Schriever AFB.
This role participates in technical aspects of mission planning and scheduling, mission operations plan development, complex operations procedure, and software tool development, telemetry and data review, data and satellite performance, and trending analysis. Perform data gathering and complex analysis tasks in support of anomaly and failure review. Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans and procedures.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Participate in the design and team implementation of mission CONOPs on the day of launch for the assigned missions.
This position will achieve proficiency on the operations floor and certification will be maintained as a requirement for qualification to provide for launch operations support.
Able to identify and recommend solutions for the smooth continuation of operations and network usage as capacity needs change.
Makes corrections to network configurations to ensure efficient operation.
Monitors and documents traffic analysis.
Monitors all hardware components to ensure terrestrial and satellite network communication facilities are operating at optimum levels.
Must possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and be able to lead discussions and work in a dynamic team environment.
This position will provide internal process improvement initiatives and leadership insight to a team of varied-level engineers.
Candidate must be able to work in an operational location with government (civilian and military) personnel.
Identify and achieve multiple milestones spread across various calendars and schedules.
Be self-motivated and able to provide solutions to highly technical problems
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.

Basic Qualifications
5 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor’s degree; 3 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters’s degree; 0 Years of relevant experience with a completed PhD; An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required with additional experience)
Must have an Active TS/SCI DoD security clearance AND adjudicated Polygraph (less than 10 years) [US Citizenship required]
Minimum of 1 year of direct flight operations, ground control operations, or ground processing operations experience
Fundamental understanding of orbital mechanics relative to ballistic and orbital rocket trajectories
Experience creating and following standardized processes and clearly documenting results for post-flight analysis to external customers
Preferred Qualifications
STEM degree
Ability to efficiently and independently multi-task in an extremely demanding and deadline-driven environment
Knowledge and experience working with Collaborative Task Management tools and process workflow tools
Ability to interface effectively with management, and other engineering personnel
Knowledge and experience in systems engineering methodology and related engineering processes

Salary Range: $88,600.00 – $133,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
