LEAD FACILITIES ENGINEER
As a member of the critical infrastructure team, you will help design, build, activate and maintain some of the world’s most technically advanced manufacturing facilities. You will be able to operate with autonomy to solve diverse and complex problems, excel at managing multiple projects at a time and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Lead Facilities Engineer, you will manage a team of internal technicians focused on world class construction, repairs and maintenance of our factories and buildings. This team will fix and repair items internally on campus, ranging from items as small as drywall and repair to full on construction projects. The person fit for this role will succeed in bringing a first principals approach to the facilities infrastructure organization, lead and mentor people well and oversee ongoing operations and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and utilities. This will involve corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance techniques as well as operational and design feedback for maintaining and improving all systems at SpaceX’s Hawthorne production facility.

Pay range:
Lead: $125,000.00 – $175,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
