We have a current opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Goleta, CA for the Summer 2025.
We will provide you with an internship that will last approximately 12 weeks, during which you will be performing hands-on meaningful projects aligned with our company goals and objectives. This opportunity will fully immerse you in our technology and culture for an invaluable and rewarding experience. Responsibilities:
Work on various project tasks under direction of senior engineering staff and mentors in Deployable Solar Arrays, Structures and Mechanisms.
Apply engineering principles in areas of manufacturing and test.
Generate technical documentation, reporting and presentations of manufacturing and test results.
Ideal Experience:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering degree program. Preferably Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Hands-on engineering experience through internships, school projects, or teams
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills
Vigorous work ethic and high-performance standards
Competent with 3D CAD modeling, SolidWorks preferred
Must be US Citizen or US Person as defined by ITAR regulations
Desired Skills:
Knowledge or experience with VSMs (Value Stream Map) and production line analysis
Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
Ability to work on their own initiative and prioritize tasking to fit within the business goals
Ability to ask questions
Ability to thrive in team-based settings
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced environment
Interest in analytical thinking and creative problem solving
Strong organizational skills

Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour
