Join us as a Metrology Technician for Optics Production (m/f/x) and work with us on changing the future!
What awaits you at Mynaric
- Qualification of in-house produced optical components using interferometers, microscopes, and various other metrology devices
- Program and run dimensional measurements with a coordinate measurement machine (CMM)
- Assist in developing the detailed test methodology and hardware requirements for serial manufacturing test
- Assembly and alignment of telescope optics using in-house manufactured components
- Perform validation testing of the assembled telescope optics
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed vocational training in the technical field, e.g. in optics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, or similar
- Experience with the handling and assembly of high-precision optical and mechanical components is a plus
- Experience in optical and dimensional metrology, e.g. using interferometers, microscopes, wavefront sensors, coordinate measurement machines, is a plus
- Interested to learn about optics
- Reliable, structured and efficient way of working
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Flexible working approach with a willingness to work overtime on short notice based on the strategic needs of the company
