Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal Military Trainer / Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Space Subject Matter Expert to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our Joint Staff J7 program in Suffolk, Virginia. The J7 supports the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the joint warfighter through joint force development (JFD) to advance the operational effectiveness of the current and future joint force. The selected candidate will help our Joint Warfighting Development (JWD) team develop joint operating concepts and doctrine, educate the Joint Force, synchronize alliances’ and partners’ joint force development programs, and integrate exercises, wargames, and experiments in support of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities and policy (DOTMLPF-P).

Salary Range: $73,300.00 – $109,900.00Salary Range 2: $90,900.00 – $136,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
