Northrop Grumman has an opening for either a Principal Contract Administrator (level 3) or Senior Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4) with active DoD Secret Clearance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located on-site in Melbourne, FL working on a growing program in the Strike portfolio. The successful candidate will support proposal development, submissions and negotiations followed by supporting program execution by providing contractual interpretation and guidance regarding service contracts and/or training systems development. Must be highly productive in daily routine and demonstrate good oral and written communications skills along with strong computer literacy.
Essential Functions:
Administers, extends and negotiates standard and nonstandard contracts
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations
Performs complex research on non-standard problems and provides recommendations to leadership
Maintains historical information

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator (level 3):
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in contracts management, contract administration, business management, intellectual property management or law; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of contracts management, contract administration, business management, intellectual property management or law experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain program access.
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4):
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in contracts management, contract administration, business management, intellectual property management or law; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of contracts management, contract administration, business management, intellectual property management or law experience.
Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain program access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in complex contract negotiations over $50M
DAU and/or NCMA certification
Prior experience with a variety of contract types such as Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Fixed Price Incentive Fee, etc.
Prior knowledge and overall understanding of FAR and DFARS
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and change directions when needed.
Industry experience preferred

Salary Range: $78,700.00 – $118,100.00Salary Range 2: $98,100.00 – $147,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
