Procurement Specialist full_time

We are seeking a talented, experienced Procurement Specialist to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.

In this role, you will work closely with program teams to facilitate critical purchasing activities and interface directly with key vendors and suppliers, ensuring that materials, goods, and services are acquired at the best possible price and quality. The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail and have a strong familiarity with recordkeeping best practices.

This position requires in-person presence at least four days a week; located in Arvada, CO.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities including creating purchase orders and recording bills
• Oversee the expense reporting process and spend categorization
• Support the filing of state and local sales tax remittances
• Research and identify potential suppliers for specialized parts and materials
• Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sales tax guidelines
• Support inventory tracking and management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong understanding of pricing frameworks
• Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of GAPP-compliant accrual accounting practices
• Familiarity with aerospace and/or technology industry supply chains
• Experience working with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Experience using BI software such as Microsoft Power BI
