We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Project Engineer. The SEIT DOORS Integrated Product Team (IPT), as part of the Requirements and Verification team, provides DOORS administration across the program for requirements development, management, verification and validation activities. The IPT has fingers in every development project under the FBM Program.
As a Project Engineer for the DOORS IPT on the FBM program, you will:
• Help shape transformation and migration to DOORS Next, setting up best practices and training
• Provide DOORS and DOORS Next subject matter expertise across the FBM program
• Drive consistency and commonality in tool usage across the FBM program
• Provide DOORS and DOORS Next tool administration
• Develop and update tool and process documentation as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a DOORS and/or DOORS Next tool administrator
• Knowledge of DOORS and/or DOORS Next back-end tool administration
• Active Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• FBM program experience highly preferred
• IT experience related to engineering tool administration and network security
• Systems Engineering knowledge/experience (e.g. requirements development, requirements analysis and verification, design/requirements review coordination, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work with leads to understand technical and schedule needs and prioritize tasking to meet milestones
• MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
• Experience on a defense/aerospace program
• FBM Special Access Briefings
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 – $192,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
