The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program provides all launch processing support functions for Office of Space Launch (OSL). The program’s two primary operating locations are Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, and satellite processing facilities O&M, clean room operations, and safety and environmental services.
We are seeking a Range Integrator & Mission Planner to coordinate and track OSL activities on the Western Range and to development, maintain and status the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for satellite launch processing missions. In this effort, you will team with multiple mission partners to plan and deconflict major activities supporting satellite launch processing.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Track OSL facility and equipment utilization to status availability to support mission operations
• Plan and track readiness activities and resource constraints for multiple satellite launch processing missions
• Incorporate inputs from all mission partners to development and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Communicate across organizations and with OSL leadership to highlight key milestones, relay progress, identify shortfalls and support contingency planning.
• Coordinate approval of mission activities with the Western Range and track range activities to avoid potential conflicts
• Track and brief weather and other potential hazards during mission activities
Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient with Microsoft Project in the development and maintenance of operational schedules
• Experience briefing information in large group meetings and to key launch mission partners
• Willing and able to support periodic travel, overtime, and alternate shifts, if required
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly (NOTE: This position is located at a facility that requires special access)
• Ability to work in a launch site environment, including the ability to climb stairs and evacuate the launch complexes wearing breathing apparatus, if required
Desired Skills:
• Background in strategic planning and the ability development and maintain largescale operational schedules
• Capable of tracking multiple activities of varying priorities
• Experience with the satellite processing, launch processing, the Office of Space Launch and/or the Western Range
• Currently possessing a TS/SCI with CI Poly
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 – $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
