Capella Space Internship Program
We are excited to offer a 10-week in-person internship at Capella Space, running from June 3rd to August 15th. This opportunity provides students with hands-on learning and valuable exposure to the dynamic fields of spacecraft design, manufacturing, and geospatial imagery. Alongside meaningful work, our internships include a variety of social events and experiences designed to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance throughout the summer. Stipends will be provided to support living costs throughout the program. Join us for a unique opportunity to grow professionally while engaging with a fast-paced and innovative industry.
About the Role and Team
The aim of future capabilities group is to generate technical knowledge and create demonstrations that enable Capella to make strategic decisions. The group is currently focused on furthering Capella’s advanced signal processing RF hardware and as a member of the team you will have the opportunity to develop new technology or processing techniques. The exact project will vary depending on the current group’s focuses and your interest and experience.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate Radar/Communication signal link budget for specific goals
- Build demonstration (possibly with hardware)
- Build something awesome!
Qualifications
- Actively pursing a degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
- Actively in advance signal processing courses
- Solid Radar/comms understanding with the ability to build and evaluate link budgets
- Experience with RF hardware

Compensation
- This internship will be a 40-hour a week commitment at the pay of $37.00 per hour. An allowance will also be provided to support living costs throughout the program.
