EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Software Engineer – OSS/BSS Application
in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architect, design and develop OSS/BSS application. Lead the onsite/offshore software development teams and ensure quality software deliverables and assist in successful eld deployments of developed software. Review, maintain, identify and enhance existing software architecture and provide direction for future products software architecture.
- Dene ICD (Interface Control Document), review and closure with other impacted subsystems.
- Participate in status review meetings with higher management to ensure all actions and dependencies are addressed in a timely manner.
Basic Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field plus 6 months’ experience in OSS/BSS applications or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in OSS/BSS applications.
- Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Java; J2EE; Oracle; Unix; MongoDB; Redhat; JBoss; Springboot; JMeter; SOAP; WSDL; Kafka; Angular; Node.js; Jenkins; and Oracle Billing and Revenue Management System.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
