As the Space Ground Integration Systems Architect, you will support the Meridian program in one or more of the following areas:

• Serves as the Meridian program Ground Integration Architect, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance on all facets of the Ground Integration System

• Designs, develops and oversees ground integration system architecture. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.
• Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total Ground Integration systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the program. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.

• Lead Systems Architect for the development of Ground Requirements and Interface Development, Model Based Systems Engineering , System Integration, and Verification

• Will lead the creation of, and subsequent closeout, of the Meridian Ground Integration and Test campaign.

• Self-directed and able to envision the end state of the product and take initiative to drive ground integration development to closure

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in an Engineering or closely related field

• Experience as a Space Systems or Mission Architect, along with complete lifecycle experience with engineering processes and reviews

• Strong knowledge of satellite ground system architectures and design of satellite ground systems

• Familiarity with DoD program support

• Demonstrated Systems Engineering or other technical experience on ground development programs

• U.S. citizenship and current SECRET clearance, and the ability to obtain DoD TOP SECRET clearance

• MBSE modeling experience with CAMEO and familiarity with SysML
Desired Skills:
• Experience in agile development process, roles and rhythms

• Experience with MBSE, Requirements Creation, and Digital Twins

• Prior experience coordinating cyber into larger system solutions

• Previous experience defining and documenting functional requirements

• Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

• Physical experience with architecture implementation, on premise primary and backup cloud design with cross domain solutions and firewalls

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $128,900 – $247,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
