Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support a program out of our Linthicum, MD office.
Position Overview:
- This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development, and integration and test.
- Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors
- Experience writing and reviewing CONOPS
Basic Qualifications:
- Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application.
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment level test procedures.
- Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using MBSE & Cameo
- Data Analysis & RF Mission processing
- General knowledge of ground segment architecture
Salary Range: $131,100.00 – $196,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
