Job Description
Exotrail is looking for a system engineer for its space transportation vehicle to geostationary orbit. The main role of this person will be to participate in the development of the vehicle used to provide in-orbit transportation services.
To do so, both technical and project management skills are required as all members of the team will need to be hands-on.
The current team is composed of several engineers working on different missions of the spacedrop™ : LEO, GEO and Rendez-vous. Your role will be to work in the systems engineering team involved in the development of the platform for the GEO mission. It requires a high-level knowledge of the architecture of a satellite, a true spirit of innovation and good skills for teamwork.
Your main tasks will be:
Participate in the design of the spacedrop™ platform for GEO missions
Perform the system engineering tasks of the project
Follow the development of the spacecraft from inception to the launch : design, development, validation and operations
Manage subcontractors who provide technical support or equipment
You will work directly with the system architect and the Project Manager of the GEO In-Orbit Services team.
The position is opened in both Exotrail’s offices in Massy or Toulouse.
Preferred Experience ♀️
Exotrail is looking for a systems engineer with hands-on experience a space project. Typically, the candidate:
A minimum experience of 3 years in a relevant position is required for this role.
Ideally, the candidate has 5 years or more of experience and can take a position in which he has to perform the first technical work and provide analysis for decision making in autonomy.
