Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an resourceful Systems Engineer to become a member of the Systems Engineering and Integration Team.
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
• Develop subsystem product specifications Requirements/Verification Baseline
• Develop Test Requirements Specifications
• Support Trade Study activities
• Collaborate with the SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions
• Support a value driven Systems Engineering team and facilitate design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
YOU WILL TYPICALLY HAVE:
• 2+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
•Knowledge in Systems Engineering with knowledge of System Engineering Concepts and processes
• Experience with requirement identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering fields to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Experience with DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team members
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Proficiency in DOORS
• Experience developing requirements for space or missile systems
• Experience supporting Trade Studies
• Active Top Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
