The SBIRS team within Lockheed Martin’s Mission Solutions business area is looking for System Administrators. The responsibilities of this role include:
• Support program development projects – design, develop, implement. May include support to proposal activities
• Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and support of information technologies
• Schedule and perform installations and upgrades to OS/COTs, software, and database packages in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
• Coordinate the overall integration on new development systems as they transition to sustainment
• Manage appropriate software solutions to ensure server data integrity, monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance level, monitoring security alerts and application systems, and working with other staff to ensure that all appropriate patches are applied in an automated and timely fashion
• Perform daily systems administration and help desk tasks in Linux, Windows, and AIX environments, to include monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual systems
• Apply cybersecurity standard methodologies to ensure high compliance status is met
• Perform testing and DR verification after software installs are complete
• Solve any issues related to these software installs
• Maintain and develop documentation as necessary
• Perform periodic COTS assessments to determine continued compliance, usage, and needs
• Fix any issues and provide support across the Information System

Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), computer science, cyber security, or related disciplines
– General Windows Environment Knowledge
– General Linux Environment Knowledge
– US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
Desired Skills:
– LDAP Experience
– DNS Experience
– VMware/Virtualization Experience
– Chef/Ansible/Automation Experience
– Windows Server 2016 and above experience
– CompTIA Security+ Certified

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,300 – $106,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
