The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) is the science operations center for several NASA missions, including the Hubble Space Telescope, the most famous space
observatory in history. We also lead the science and mission operations for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and will perform parts of the science operations for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. STScI is also a recipient of many prestigious research grants and contracts. STScI is looking for a Web Architect with a thorough understanding and comprehensive background in the design, development, and support of web environments and architectures. Strong knowledge of relevant IT industry trends as well as experience and technical leadership in the design, architecture, and implementation of web and IT solutions.
This position requires access to ITAR regulated material and qualified applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Required Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or technically related field with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a formal IT organization.
The position level and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
